Eligible applicants are leading across industries and disciplines, with positions in education, philanthropy, nonprofits, government, and the private sector.

The application process is competitive; candidates must demonstrate a strong personal interest and professional commitment to the program. The Admissions Committee uses three standard criteria to assess application materials:

  • Evidence of academic talent
  • Suitable professional experience
  • Professional goals aligned with the purposes and capabilities of the program

Admissions Criteria

Though we aspire to take a holistic approach to admissions, students must satisfy the following admissions requirements:

  • Completed admissions application
  • At least 7-10 years work experience in a leadership capacity
  • Transcripts for all post-secondary institutions attended (e.g. bachelor’s degree or international equivalent, master’s degree in education, education administration, business, leadership, or a related field demonstrating solid academic performance of 3.0 or higher GPA
  • Three (3) letters of recommendation, one from the workplace you will use to conduct your Problem of Practice and organizational change project
  • Resume that specifies professional experiences and service
  • Essays that describe the student’s knowledge, interest, and current professional experience/expertise
